At Your Pets Are So Fine, our goal is to provide a calm, safe, and positive grooming experience for every pet. Every animal responds differently to grooming, and while we use gentle handling and professional care at all times, unforeseen reactions or conditions may occur. By scheduling services with us, you agree to the following terms and conditions.
Pet Health & Disclosure
Grooming may reveal or aggravate pre-existing conditions that were not previously apparent, including but not limited to skin or shampoo sensitivities, allergies, moles, matting, fleas, behavioral issues, joint or bone sensitivity, heart conditions, seizures, or anxiety. Owners must disclose all known health, behavioral, or medical concerns prior to grooming.
No-Shows & Cancellations
No-shows, cancellations with less than 48 hours’ notice, or repeated rescheduling may result in a $25 fee per pet.
Fleas & Ticks
If fleas or ticks are discovered during grooming, treatment is mandatory and an additional fee will apply. This protects your pet, other pets, and the grooming environment. Fleas may cause serious health issues, including tapeworms and skin infections. We strongly recommend monthly flea and tick prevention such as NexGard®, Sentinel®, or Advantage Multi®.
Accidents & Grooming Risks
Although every precaution is taken, grooming tools are sharp and pets may move unexpectedly. Minor incidents such as nicks, scratches, or nail quicking may occur, particularly with wiggly or anxious pets. Your pet’s safety is always our top priority.
Aggressive or Difficult Pets
Owners must disclose if their pet has bitten, attempted to bite, or displays aggressive behavior toward people, other animals, or grooming procedures. Muzzles may be used when necessary for safety. A handling fee may apply for aggressive or difficult-to-groom pets. Your Pets Are So Fine reserves the right to refuse or stop services at any time if grooming becomes unsafe for the pet or groomer.
Senior Pets & Pets with Medical Conditions
Grooming can be physically and emotionally stressful for senior pets or those with medical conditions. These pets will be groomed for comfort and cleanliness, not cosmetic styling. In the event of an emergency, you authorize Your Pets Are So Fine to seek immediate veterinary care if deemed necessary. Every effort will be made to contact you first. All veterinary expenses are the responsibility of the pet owner.
Matting & Dematting
Matted coats require additional time, care, and risk. A dematting fee will apply. Severe matting may require shaving and can expose skin issues that existed prior to grooming. Risks may include skin irritation, redness, abrasions, behavioral changes, delayed hair regrowth, or sun sensitivity after shaving. For your pet’s well-being, we will not repeatedly demat severely matted coats. Regular grooming is the best prevention.
Photo & Media Consent
By using our services, you grant ongoing permission for Your Pets Are So Fine to take before, during, and after grooming photos or videos of your pet and to use them for marketing, social media, and promotional purposes without compensation. You release Your Pets Are So Fine from any claims related to the use or distribution of these images.
Hold Harmless Agreement
By using our services, you agree to hold Your Pets Are So Fine, its owners, operators, and employees harmless from any claims, damages, or losses arising from your pet’s condition, whether known or unknown. These terms may be updated at any time and supersede all prior agreements. This agreement applies to all pets serviced.
Weather Policy
All appointments are weather-permitting. We reserve the right to cancel or reschedule appointments due to unsafe road conditions, extreme temperatures, or hazardous weather including snow, ice, high winds, hail, severe storms, or tornado warnings.
Payments
We accept cash, check, Zelle, credit cards, Venmo, Cash App, Apple Pay, and PayPal. A 3% invoicing or processing feeapplies to electronic payments except cash, check, or Zelle.
Final Acknowledgment
By scheduling or using any services provided by Your Pets Are So Fine, you confirm that you are the legal owner of the pet and that you have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms & Conditions and our Salon Etiquette Policy.
All sales are final. No refunds.
